What Should I Write in a Tribute?

There are many ways  you can pay tribute to your beloved lost pet.  Most pet owners would agree that their four-legged furbaby is just as much a part of the family as the 2-legged ones.  Most would also agree that they are easier to raise – they don’t talk back, they don’t borrow the car, and they don’t borrow money, etc.    They can’t be interned with us in the family plot, so how do we say “Good-bye” in a dignified, appropriate manner?

There are many Pet Poems that have been written that convey the sentiment we feel towards our furry friends.  Many can be found etched on Pet Urns.  The “Rainbow Bridge” Pet Poem is a beautiful poem depicting how our pets are waiting for us in heaven and will greet us when we get there.  And there are many others.  Or, you may choose to write one yourself.  I have had clients write and “ode” to their lost pet or poems about their lives together.  Keep it very simple yet heart-felt.  Be sure to include the Pet’s name, the dates, and then something that will tell others what a special bond you had with your pet.  Absolute Black Granite headstones are made to lasered with the tribute and even your pet’s photo.  They make a stunning memorial that can be placed over the grave and will last for many generations.  When shopping for a Pet Headstone a Pet Poem Urn, or any Personalized Pet Memorial, make sure it fits the personality of your pet.  Check out some Sample Pet Tributes on our website.
